On August 11th, 2019 a big square sail was set by the ABORA team for the first time. The reed boat was built near Beloslav (Varna Region) by Aymara Indians, volunteers, students and cadets from the Naval School. The organizers of the expedition headed by Dr.Dominique Görlitz – ABORA IV project team leader , claim that the sea vessel has shown signally good maneuverability.

A few day later, on August 17th ABORA IV sails from Varna. The crew of the reed boat is 12-member. The purpose of the is to prove that during the construction of the pyramids in Egypt there was maritime trade contacts between the peoples of the Black and Mediterranean basins.
